Meet Dr. Daniel Kelly, a passionate optometrist who has been enhancing vision and changing lives since 2016. Born and raised in Hendersonville, TN, Daniel's journey in eye care began after earning his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Indiana University, where he also showcased his athletic prowess on the collegiate soccer field. His dedication to optometry led him to the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN, where he graduated with honors.
Dr. Kelly brings a wealth of experience from his diverse training, including his work at the Daytona Beach VA Outpatient Clinic, The Eye Center, inner-city health clinics in Memphis, and Cool Springs Eye Care in Franklin, TN. He is a member of several prestigious organizations, such as the Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians, the American Optometric Association, the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association, and the College of Optometrists in Vision Development.
Specializing in behavioral optometry and neuro-optometric rehabilitation, Dr. Kelly has a keen interest in addressing vision-related learning issues, amblyopia, strabismus, strokes, and mild traumatic brain injuries. He is committed to providing comprehensive eye care for all ages, with a particular focus on dry eye treatment, myopia management, and enhancing vision-related learning abilities. Certified in cutting-edge myopia management techniques like MiSight and Corneal Refractive Therapy, he's your go-to expert for personalized eye care solutions.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Kelly’s life is filled with joy and activity. Residing in East Nashville with his wife Kara and their beloved pets—two cats, Yogi and Ollie, and a black golden doodle named Cocoa— he enjoys soccer, golf, cooking, and beach getaways. Whether he's coaching soccer, indulging in his food obsession, or cheering on the Hoosiers, Dr. Kelly's zest for life and passion for eye care make him a cherished member of our community.
